The Fishing Trip

Sergio and I stopped at his grandparents after going to my Mother's home owners association and selling things at the annual flea market. Sergio's grandfather (Abo) took him directly across the street to go fishing. I followed them to take pictures. Sergio had a fishing pole with no hook with the fishing line just tied in a knot at the top of he pole. Abo's pole had a knot in the line so he moved a few steps back to fix it. All of a sudden, Sergio swung his pole and hit Mommy in the head, knocking my glasses to one side. In the time that I was trying to adjust my glasses, Sergio ,lost his momentum from the big swing and wound up 1/2 way in the lake on his side. Thank GOD is wasn't the side with the cast, that was sticking up int he air! He screamed because he was so scared! Then Mommy had to stick one foot in the lake (a small one thank God) to get Sergio out and then Abo had to also go in the lake to retrieve the other fishing pole.
