We had breakfast this morning at the Lazy Loggerhead at Carlin Park.
Decent breakfast. Okay prices.

Dad's Meat Lovers Omelet, hash brown triangles and toast.

Mom's veggie omelet, wicked awesome cheese sauce, hash browns and toast.

SVZ would only eat hash browns. :(  He did drink his whole glass of orange juice!!!!

SVZ: Mom, can we go to NH again and look at the trees with the colorful leaves?
Me: Sure, we will try to go again; we had a nice time last year!
SVZ: And Mom, I don’t want to fly on Southwest.  Can we go on Jet Blue?  They have TVs!
(Since Jet Blue doesn’t fly into the airport I want to fly into, he will be on Southwest again but I’ll be nice and bring the portable DVD player.) (Yes we are still behind the times with no laptop.)


Sergio at the Speech Pathologist Office:
Speech Pathologist: Sergio, tell me why this sentence doesn’t make sense:  The girl ate the car.
SVZ: HAHAHAHAHAHA that is soooo funnnyyyyy!!!!! The girl ate the car????? Whatttt?????? HAHAHAHAHAHAH

A Trip To Sandi Trails

A friend let us know of someone who was giving away a few chickens at their Equestrian Center/Working Farm!  We went to pick them up but they roam the farm during the day so we had to wait until dusk when they 'came in for the night'.  While we were waiting, we had a great time exploring the grounds!  There were animals of every kind all over the place!





At first I thought this was a cow!

Jupiter Farms Community Egg Hunt April 2011

Sergio and I participated in the egg toss!  For a while I thought our egg was hard boiled because it would NOT break! Sergio was totally chucking it at me and it just bounced!  At one point he ran to pick it up, stepped on it, his feet came up from under him and he landed on it on his butt!  STILL DID NOT BREAK!  Finally when we were one of 9 teams left, it smashed!

Sergio got 'his own pet' for his 6th birthday!
His Dad helped him get the starter kit ready while Mom read the directions.  The fish is a Blue Beta and Sergio named it (who knows if it is a he or she!) SPIKE!
I hope Spike is happy in Sergio's room and lives for a long time.......

His Last 5-Year Old Funnies!

Today, on the eve of his birthday, Sergio V was in rare form.  I picked him up from school and the conversation went like this:

SV: Mom, can I get a happy meal?
Me: Well, I don't know, just who do you think you are?
SV: A Happy Meal Eater!

then this:

A kid in the parking lot as we were leaving the school told me that Sergio tries to fight with him everyday.
SV: Mom, I don't try to fight with him every day.    Just some of the days.

then this:
Me: Sergio, tomorrow is your birthday!  After school we are going to go out to eat and then to the pet store to get you your very first goldfish!
SV: Mom, I'd rather have my very first parrot!

I wonder what '6' will bring!  :) Lots more smiles I hope!
