Sergio and I had some Mother and son time last weekend at Lion Country Safari.  We got to drive through the safari in our car, while listening to a narrated CD that told us all about the animals we were viewing.

It is amazing how close we were to the animals!

Ostriches really are HUGE!

I took this picture and then got the heck out of this enclosure!  Sergio stayed for a while.

April 7, 2012, my baby boy is 7!

Oh yeah-I'm Seven!

Sergio doesn't eat cake so we got him a chocolate chip cookie cake!

We started the day with a family trip to the West Palm Beach Science Museum.

Sergio enjoyed the aquariums at the science museum-we all did!

A buck tooth fish!

He looks like Pigs in Space the way he had his nose pressed to the helmet!

Everyone tried the brain teasers and science experiments.

We can dig it! Fossil search.

Touching a real dinosaur bone.

Proud and happy Mom!

He's ready for the safari, he just needs to grow into the hat!

Put us down!!

A closer look at BUGS!

Last night at soccer practice, there was a new coach that we hadn't seen before.  He was quite short compared to the other coaches.  Sergio and I were the first to arrive so after changing into his shin guard socks, he asked to go say hi to the new coach.  Sure, I said.

Sergio ran off to greet the new coach and the first thing I heard was, "Why are you so miniature?'
The second thing I heard was one of the other coaches laughing hysterically!
