Some of the latest from SerVlad.  He always has us chuckling!! Good medicine for everyone.

Hey Mom, I thought of a way to avoid homework-make pretend I have amnesia!
*****************************************
Mom: Sergio, did you finish that nugget?
SerVlad:  Yes Mom, My teeth chewed it, my tongue pushed it down my
throat and right now it is in my small contestants.
********************************************
The other day, SerVlad was outback when the pool guy showed up.  I saw the
pool guy and Sergio went out to talk to him.  The pool guy said, your son is a
trip, I asked him to go get Mom or Dad and tell them I am here and he said, You
don't want me to do that, they will come out here and kick your butt!
**********************************************
Sergio had a page of homework that was sensory.  Remember the last birthday party you went to and describe what you saw, tasted, smelled, touched and heard.
Mom: Sergio, what did you smell at the birthday party?
Sergio:  A FART!  I thought it was you but then I realized it was my friend.

Fun with Photo Booth

Sergio enjoyed some serious camera time with Photo Booth.  It's an app that was on my iPad when I received it.  As you can see, with this app, you can warp, stretch, pinch,
and many other crazy things with your pictures.

In the following two pictures, Sergio looks like kids-movie characters to me.
So-now I know how they create some of those silly faces!

This is the alien collection!

Hope you enjoyed a few moments of our silliness!

The Kid Loves to Travel!

I have to say, SerVlad is a pretty darn good travel companion.  Yes, there is more prep work with him and I need to make sure some special needs are met, but overall, he is up for anything!

He tried one small bite of my lobster.

We had a great lake day on Lake Wentworth.  He, or course, chased the ducks.

It was so picturesque and just a gorgeous day!

Sergio could be found most of the day bent down, exploring rocks, shells, and other nature items.

He made a new friend-a mermaid from South Berwick!  Her Mom and I have been friends since Jr. High School.

They had a nice time plating Mermaid and Aqua Man and making up different disaster songs. :)

He hung out a little with family.

His first time picking a blueberry in his grandparents yard.

A trip to Polar Caves-he was excited about this and it was a very nice stop for him, me, and my Dad.

There was a big drop in temperature in the caves.  Many of the caves required us to bend down and watch our heads although that didn't stop a few bangs here and there.

Sergio tossed a penny into a fountain and made a wish for a Transformer.  Amazingly, we had to stop at Walmart a few days later and his wish came true!

At Polar Caves, he fed ducks and deer.

A stop along the beautiful Kangamagus Highway for some rock climbing and gorgeous views.

He immediately fell in the water, but only half of him...can you tell which half?  lol
That didn't stop him though, he was asking how to get to a couple of the waterfalls that he saw!

Even Optimus Prime wanted in on the action!

I love this picture-Sergio would have gone to the highest peak of any boulders
if we would have let him.

We had a nice visit to Odiorne State Beach.  SerVlad wasn't too sure there were
oceans in NH-now he knows there are!
It's amazing how this is the same ocean that he swims in down in Florida
yet the looks are so different.

SerVlad and Mom waited on the town docks to catch a trolley ride that brought us all around Wolfeboro, NH, pointing out lots of sights.

Yes-Optimus was on the trolley too!

He played with some slugs that he found in his grandparents yard.  He pays such close attention to the bugs and such-I never saw a slug except for what he brought out of hiding.  Slug bugs are nasty-their little slug bug guts are hard to wash off!

Another lake day on Lake Wentworth with our immediate family.
He and I enjoyed a couple of kayak rides with his cousins. The second ride we took was far off to an island.  SerVlad and G brought back a rock and branch for proof that we had made it!

A BINGO game-Winner Winner!

Having fun with his cousins before we had to leave the next day.

Summer Vaca to See Mickey and Others!

10:28 AM Edit This 2 Comments »
One of our summer trips this year was to visit Mickey and meet some other very special people.
Our hotel was really amazing-detail every where you looked!  We stayed at Mickey's Wilderness Lodge!  You really did get the feel you were in a lodge somewhere in the wilderness...haha, the whole intention!
SerVlad thought it was sooo cool to have bunk beds and he quickly climbed up top!
The lobby of the lodge was just massive and cool!

We visited Epcot-A first for SerVlad!

SerVlad really enjoyed everything we went on! So much here was educational for him as well.
They gave him a button that said 1st Visit!

What is a trip to Disney without visiting your pals?

SerVlad gave Minnie a hug, then a kiss!  She was so touched and then kissed hi8m back!

Went on The Seas ride with Nemo and Friends.  When we got off the ride, there was a great interactive area with aquariums to visit.

As we were exiting an exhibit out a side door, this fine couple was walking by-headed to a spot to meet people.  SerVlad was the first one they met and they were so pleased to meet him.  He was very polite and after they said goodbye, he said, Mom, who are they? Why, it's Mary Poppins and Bert! (Okay, so I wasn't quite sure who they were either-especially Bert-they
had a guide with them who introduced them!)

I just love this picture of Sergio and Sergio!
So many cool elements to it!

Back inside the Wilderness Lodge
The gift shop-Sergio's favorite thing inside: Goofy's Sour Worms!
Lobby area where we met some new friends.  We were here as part of  a big group-65 families who's lives were touched by Russian adoption!  It was so great to see some of the children and meet some of the families that I have been corresponding with on Face Book for a long time now!
From our room-we could see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom every night!  That was fun!

A little stroll around Downtown Disney.

Trying out Dad's shades.

I wanted to go up in this tethered hot air balloon ride but it was grounded due to weather.
Sergio's comment after we left downtown:  Man, Downtown Disney STINKS!  It only has one ride and it's a hot air balloon!

Back to the room, we got in some pool time, and then
changed to go to our main event with the group.

Just love my two Sergio's!!!!!
xoxoxoxoxo
We took a boat to Fort Wilderness to attend Mickey's Backyard BBQ!

The kids started running around and having a good 'ole time!
They even sat quietly when there were performances.

Time to boogie with the characters and other guests.
SerVlad got his signature moves going right away!

Our happy family.  At one point in the night, I was dancing with SerVlad to the song, God Bless the USA!  Yeah, safe to say Mommy's waterworks were in full gear.   lol

Time for the conga line with Mickey.
Check him out...thrilled to be between two hunnies!
His face just tells me that the whole trip was worth it.

What a beautiful sight as we waited for the boat to get back to Wilderness Lodge.

Special end to a special night.
