We took a trip to the Florida Keys for Spring Break.
Sergio has been so interested in shells so Shell World was the first stop!

We visited Theater by the Sea in Marathon, FL.
Saw lots of Florida Sea Life and other native animals.

They had many short shows.  Perfect for a few hours.

Sergio got into the act at the Sea Lion show!

We rented a cottage for two nights.  In front was a 'Keys Beach' area.

Sergio got to work right away collecting lots of shells.

Sergio displayed his find on a table....until..... it all started crawling away!
A hermit crab in every shell!

Dinner and sunset.

The second day, we headed down to Key West.  Sergio was extremely excited to see
the poly-dactyl cats at the Hemingway Home!

Cats could be found everywhere!

Even in the gift shop!

An emotional picture for Mommy to take-from Perm, Russia, all the way to the Southernmost Point! I love showing this boy the world.

He clearly is a good sport with all Mom's photo requests!

Sergio thought Sloppy Joe's was a hilarious name!

Mallory Square Pier

It was hard to control his impulses not to run after these locals!

Two Cubans.

2 Sergio's at Mile Marker 0!

At night we took a trolley ghost tour!  Sergio was so excited for this and really into it!

Here he is with an "EVP" detector.  He wanted to check all the photos when we got back to the cottage to check for orbs.  He wasn't disappointed!

We even got to meet, Robert the Doll!
Robert Did it!

The next day as we headed home, We stopped for a break at Anne's Beach.

This stop was for Mom, it's a place called the Rain Barrel with lots of artisan crafts.  This big guy in the front is a famous attraction!

Sergio, Biggie and I have walked with Sergio's school for Autism two years in a row now.

This year Tia and Lynn walked with us.  Aba and Abo came to see us off!

In no time at all, Sergio was spinning the ball on his fingers alone! Thanks, Ronald!

Visiting the mini horses.  The ones that nip a bit..... I'm sure in this shout I just told him to make sure he kept his hands away from their mouths!

Practicing his bike riding.  He still cannot ride without training wheels.
That is one thing we are going to work on after school.

Cosmo enjoying the pillow pal!

A glance at his room. He still loves Transformers!

Meanwhile...back at the farm...

His Nana and Papa were down from NH.  We had dinner at Aba and Abo's and played a bit in the park.

A boy and his Papa!

Trying dinner at Dune Dogs on Valentine's Day.
