A Fair-y Good Day

SerVlad and I headed to the So. Fla. Fair.  This was Sergio's second year going to this fair.  It was fun to see how his interests changed or didn't change from the year prior.  This year one thing he liked seeing was Hot Rods!
We both had our Patriots Shirts on!

Old car/models display.

SerVlad and I both REALLY like seeing the animals at the fair!

Here Mr. Camel, have a hand full of nothing-works every time!
 Hee Hee Hee!

It was a little rainy but neither one of us cared!  Most exhibits were under roof anyhow.

There was a whole area dedicated to rabbits.  People 'show' them to place for ribbons.
Soooo cute!

Sergio's FAVORITE was the poultry exhibit!  He was so excited as soon as we walked in!  That exhibit was so loud!!
Cock-a-doodle-doo times about 500!

Look at that fancy girl behind Sergio!  For lots more chicken viewing, head on over to my other blog!  Mom's Blog

The Corn Pit!  Who knew kids could have so much fun in corn kernels! Sergio even made 'Corn Angels'!

To this day, I am still finding kernels in the wash!  :)

Another exhibit: More Goats. How about the cute little one in the argyle sweater!

Next it was Fair French Fries and an Elephant Show!

A 9,000 lb. Asian Elephant

An African Elephant

Sergio and I got a birds eye view of the fair on the sky ride-so fun!

I was proud of Sergio, he went on a few rides by himself this year.

Aren't these the cheesiest, I mean the cutest? We both took a spin!

He went through a Mario Brothers fun house.

This I couldn't believe-SerVlad went in a giant beach ball that was floating on a shallow pool!  He did GREAT and had a 'ball!'

The Fair has a theme each year.  This year was Washington D.C.

This was an old Air Force One.  Look at the phones on it!  I think that was unrealistic!

I told Sergio that the Lincoln Memorial was a sand castle!  He said, "Do I need to take off my shoes?"  Oh my goodness!

A replica of the Oval Office when Reagan was President.

 Very Important Call!

The lady running the exhibit told him to make a serious face!  He did a good job!
Now PIG RACES?  Wow-this was a first time for both of us! And we saw Sergio's kindergarten pal-what a cutie!

Of course we wandered through the model train exhibit-always a favorite for SerVlad!
